Arab Council in Ukraine strongly condemns Russian missile attack on Kyiv hospitals

Kyiv, Ukraine – On July 10, 2024, the Arab Council in Ukraine issued a statement strongly condemning the latest missile attack by Russian forces on hospitals in Kyiv on July 8. The attack killed thirty-three people, including four children, and injured more than one hundred and twenty. Two hospitals were destroyed, including Ukraine’s largest children’s hospital, and two residential buildings were partially destroyed.

The statement emphasizes that Russian troops continue to bring grief, death and destruction, terrorizing the sick, children and the elderly to break the spirit of the Ukrainian people and cause a humanitarian crisis, InfoLight.UA Research and Analysis Group reports.

The Arab Council in Ukraine strongly condemned Russia’s aggression against the civilian population of Ukraine and expressed its full support for the Ukrainian people in their right to resist and fight until complete victory. The organization called on all countries of the world, especially Arab and Islamic countries, to continue to exert maximum pressure on Russia to stop the aggression.

The council also demanded the complete withdrawal of Russian troops from the entire territory of Ukraine and punishment for all organizers of the aggression. In its statement, the council reaffirmed its support for the unity, integrity and independence of Ukraine, expressing pride in the resilience and courage of the Ukrainian people and army.

In conclusion, the Arab Council in Ukraine reaffirmed its solidarity with the Ukrainian people and expressed confidence in Ukraine’s victory over the aggressor.
