The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has reported receiving a new batch of weapons, equipment and drones from private donors. This is stated in a post by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine on its official Facebook page.
According to the ministry, special intelligence units received mortars, ammunition, drones and vehicles. The transferred equipment includes Daewoo Novus trucks, Mitsubishi L200 pickup trucks, ATVs, Mavic 3T quadcopters, as well as 155-mm artillery shells, 122-mm rocket launchers and 120-mm M-75 mortars.
Weapons and special equipment were purchased at the expense of the BROCARD group of companies (Egzagon LLC and Brocard-Ukraine LLC) under the Memorandum of Cooperation.
The representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Yevhen Yerin noted that the transferred equipment and weapons will be distributed among the units of the Military Intelligence of Ukraine performing tasks on the front line in the near future.
Interestingly, Oksana Gut, director of Egzagon LLC, who represents the interests of the owner of the group of companies, French citizen Philippe Benassin, said that during the full-scale Russian invasion, the amount of aid allocated to support the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine amounted to more than UAH 215 million.
“Our group’s contribution to the future of Ukraine is not limited to financial support for the army. We systematically work for the country’s economy. In 2024, the amount of taxes paid by our companies will amount to UAH 800 million. The number of employees retained during the full-scale war is 1,500, and all of them receive official salaries,” said Oksana Gut.
It is worth noting that the company is not resting on its laurels. During the event, Oksana Gut announced the amount of assistance planned for the Military Intelligence of Ukraine by the end of 2024 and handed over a symbolic certificate for UAH 100 million.
We would like to add that the servicewomen who serve in the units of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine received gift sets from the company.
