The Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov congratulated Ukrainians on Christmas. In his address, he emphasized the most valuable thing that the Ukrainian people have today.
“What is the most valuable thing we have to stand before God and the world with today – in the midst of war, sadness, daily anxiety and loss? Our steadfastness! Our firm determination not to obey the forces of evil, our sacrifice, our unity and faith that the Good is worth fighting for!” – Budanov emphasized.
According to the DIU chief, today Ukraine has become a symbol of the struggle for good for the entire free world. He noted that this is due to the daily heroism of the military on all fronts and the dedicated work of those who hold the home front.
Budanov also wished Ukrainians a merry Christmas and a happy New Year, and expressed hope for a “a well-deserved just and fair future, protected from enemies from outside and from scoundrels inside.”.
