This was stated by Deputy Defense Minister <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukrinform.ua\/rubric-ato\/3852650-urij-dzigir-zastupnik-ministra-oboroni-ukraini.html\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.ukrinform.ua\/rubric-ato\/3852650-urij-dzigir-zastupnik-ministra-oboroni-ukraini.html\">Yuriy Dzhyhyr in an interview with Ukrinform<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n<p>The audits covered such processes as:<\/p>\n\n<p>\u25aa\ufe0f\u043d\u0430\u0440\u0430\u0445\u0443\u0432\u0430\u043d\u043d\u044f and payment of additional remuneration to the military;<br\/>\u25aa\ufe0f\u0437\u0430\u043a\u0443\u043f\u0456\u0432\u043b\u0456 food for the Armed Forces;<br\/>\u25aa\ufe0f\u0444\u0443\u043d\u043a\u0446\u0456\u043e\u043d\u0430\u043b\u044c\u043d\u0435 management of state-owned enterprises;<br\/>\u25aa organization of financial and logistical support for the units of the TRO Forces;<br\/>\u25aa\ufe0f\u0432\u0438\u043a\u043e\u0440\u0438\u0441\u0442\u0430\u043d\u043d\u044f resources in the field of activity of the Land, Navy and Air Forces Commands of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n<p>Internal audits, in particular, were aimed at preventing such incidents and the implementation of audit recommendations resulted in an economic effect totaling more than UAH 1.5 billion.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;The Ministry of Defense is a huge mechanism with a large number of structural units. But every few years, at least high-risk areas should come under audit, and there should be a conclusion and an appropriate response.
